The Hunters and Collectors tribute album Crucible has debuted at #3 on the ARIA album chart! This instantly places Crucible at the second highest position ever reached by Hunters and Collectors in the Australian charts – narrowly behind the Demon Flower album which spent one week at #2 on debut nearly 20 years ago.
True Believers applauds the hard work of all who have been a part in Crucible, from Michael Gudinski and John O’Donnell through to Loud and Clear Management and the band. The solid belief in and support of the project was well demonstrated by the second to none print, television and social media promotion.
To those who picked up the album last week, well done. To those yet to grab a copy of Crucible, there is much to look forward too! 🙂
Other Australian Chart notes:
– Crucible is at #6 on the digital albums chart – meaning it did better relatively in physical sales compared to digital sales

– Natural Selection album re-entered the albums chart at #59 – it is also at #13 on the Australian only albums top 20

I bought my copy on the day of release and it has been on regular play since then.
Strong favorites are The Living End and Something for Kate, but many other enjoyable tracks too.
