Over ten minute live recording of Run Run Run.
Do we need to say any more?
It was fan Bill that encouraged us:
“Run Run Run” – one of my favs from early on (reminds me I need to re-listen to Spare Parts)
The live record of the evolution of Run Run Run is healthy over many recordings. The very early versions, as per the recording on Spare Parts, are much faster and shorter. Later versions, like this one here, are a slower, darker affair.
During Vault recording, no song consistently caused more grief than Run Run Run. Recording from analog tape, the goal was to record at a reasonable volume but avoid clipping. Almost every time, the gas cylinder (or drum in this case, it appears) would bash in near the end of the entire tape and cause clipping. Gah! If it wasn’t such a great track…
Am I too late to hear this…oh noooooooooooo…
Hi Mark,
I’ve temporarily restored the link so you can download it 🙂
The reason only around 5 tracks can be downloaded at any given time is because of the agreement we have with management on The Vault – that it is OK to have a few tracks up, but never too many available at once.
Cheers
Thanks very much Stuart, that was awesome, I love that song, can’t have too many versions!
hey I missed this, any chance of a re-up
