This week we return to The Fireman’s Curse, an album that never ceases to extract controversy within and outside the band!
Fan Nathan requested a live recording Mr Right recently; and while we were initially uncertain if it existed live form, we are pleased to have found it in four separate Vault recordings! Live, it was played, without a break, following a mysterious never heard before lost track Whelan’s Gantry, which we also give a run when we visit The Fireman’s Curse era again 🙂
As with all tracks from The Fireman’s Curse album, Mr Right has never appeared anywhere officially in live form.
Awesome!!! One of the really good numbers on Fireman’s Curse.
Hearing these curse songs live they really do meld better with what the band were doing previously especially the songs post the first Self Titled LP ie payload etc. The curse LP is quite an unrepresentative jarring difference to what had been released before. Live this stuff is a lot more homogenous with stuff like Towtruck and Mouthtrap.
Still hoping for some of the other songs from this beast!!!
