The 2014 tour picks up pace this weekend with gigs at Bimbadgen Winery in the Hunter Valley today and Sirromet Winery south of Brisbane tomorrow.
This gives us only one week the show rolls into All Saints Estate at Rutherglen!
While we do not have recordings from the immediate local area, we have unearthed a live recording from nearby Wagga for those also on a road trip next weekend.
Scream Who is an album track on the self titled debut Hunters and Collectors album back in 1982 – one of a number of tracks we would argue better captured live than in the studio.
Yes, there is little chance this song will get a run at Rutherglen – this is one for the many fans of the relatively undocumented early era of the Hunna’s!

Nice one!… This performed in Wagga Wagga in 1982, what were they thinking?
What amazes me with these early tunes is how close the live performances are to the record, obviously the records are very much live in the studio from a well rehearsed band. This tune on the record is maybe a little stiff while this one rollicks along a bit more always hinting that it might get funky, but they seem to resist their Can/Talking Heads urges which they let run free on tunes like Alligator Engine.
