As most of us prepare for a couple of days break somewhere or other, we would like to thank you all for your support over the year and wish the best for the festive season and new year.
2013 has been the biggest year for Hunters and Collectors post breakup in 1998. It has included:
- The release of the mighty tribute album Crucible; bringing Hunters and Collectors back into the top 10;
- The reformation for the MCG Grand Final – both as mid match and after match entertainment; and
- Announcement of a massive one off tour for 2014.
At True Believers, we have also:
- Redone the entire Internet site in a modern WordPress format;
- Published a suite of full tabs for Hunters and Collectors songs put together by bass player John Archer;
- Continued The Vault project, including more recording and publication of 52 rare track of the week recordings.
The only year that promises to be bigger is 2014. 17 gigs across every state of Australia.
This is your big chance to see Hunters and Collectors – perhaps for the first time; perhaps for the first time in 16 years. If you have not booked already – do it now. As we have noted to the many people e-mailing us hoping for further gig announcements, there are unlikely to be further gig announcements!
Have a good one! 🙂
Merry Christmas Stuart, and thanks for all that you do for Hunters & Collectors and the Hunnas fans!
Merry Christmas and a wonderful and healthy 2014.
There proofs to be a lot of action for H & C and I wish I was able to attend any of these fine Australian concerts.
My hope is that thare will be a future DVD of this upcoming tour for the rest of the world to share.
Thanks Stuart for all the information you are able to supply to fans everywhere on this planet !!
