Today we are pleased to share a full Fate era recording from one of the more unusual locations in the repertoire – the Town and Country in London. How many expats are in this audience-?
Lots of great live rarities here from the What’s A Few Men? and Fate albums to be enjoyed on this one. Under The Sun, Wishing Well, So Long Ago and more… not long before work began on the Ghost Nation album. And welcome to Barry Palmer on electric guitar!
Swedish fans: we had hoped to share with you a Fate era recording in recognition of the great support you gave the band in this era. Unfortunately, only a couple of desk tapes from Sweden survived – and they are far lower quality than this one from the UK.
Our desk tape selections complement the official professional recordings already available – The Way To Go Out (The Venue, Melbourne, 1984), Living in Large Rooms and Lounges (The Continental and others, 1995), Under One Roof (Selinas, Sydney, 1998) and Live 2014 (The Palais, Melbourne). All can be found on streaming audio, including Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music and Apple Music.
