Stuart H&C Raw Material – The Desk Tapes.
With Human Frailty out on limited edition vinyl, for our second desk tape we have something special: a full 24 song St Kilda gig from the Human Frailty era!
9 out of the 10 tracks from the album are here; along with a unique early version of Under The Sun (called Snowbound), a cover of the Bruce Springsteen track Fire and even two runs of The Slab by audience demand (!).
Keen eyes may be wondering why this recording is “#7” when we have only previously shown “#1”. Well, there are 5 desk tapes to come that are from between the first gig and this one; along with 8 after this one. This adds up to the promised 15 recordings 🙂
Our desk tape selections complement the official professional recordings already available – The Way To Go Out (The Venue, Melbourne, 1984), Living in Large Rooms and Lounges (The Continental and others, 1995), Under One Roof (Selinas, Sydney, 1998) and Live 2014 (The Palais, Melbourne).
