Jack Howard was the man behind that most of iconic of horn sections – Hunters and Collectors’ Horns Of Contempt.
He’s also performed or recorded with Midnight Oil, You Am I, The Living End, Little Red, Rodriguez, The Violent Femmes – the list is endless.
Now with his new show, Epic Brass, Jack will be performing the great horn hits and hidden gems from the golden age of Australian Rock.
Think The Oils, The Saints and H & C; plus some of the finest left-of-centre songs from The Laughing Clowns, X, The Wet Taxis and more.
Jack has put an amazing band together with a 5-piece horn section; and he’ll be joined by some of Melbourne’s finest to sing these classic tunes.
Jack and the band will be launching the show at one of Melbourne’s most beautiful new venues, Memo Music Hall in St. Kilda, on Saturday July 9th.
