Glen Eira’s popular Party in the Park series is back.

The council has three free events lined up and the first is an evening Party Under the Stars on Saturday, January 18, at Packer Park, Carnegie.

The annual parties bring the community together in January, February and March with free outdoor events in three of the city’s parks.

Mark Seymour will perform at Packer Park before he tours with Bruce Springsteen.

`Tinpan Orange’ will also perform along with Glen Eira Battle of the Bands 2013 contestant `The Temporary’.

Party Under the Stars runs from 6pm – 10pm at Packer Park, Leila Rd, Carnegie.

The second Party in the Park is at Caulfield South’s Princes Park on Sunday, February 16, noon – 4pm.

The third is at Allnutt Park, Wheatley Rd, McKinnon, on Sunday March 2, noon-4pm.
