Sounds like: The cream of the current Aussie music crop (Birds of Tokyo, Matt Corby, Something For Kate, Husky, The Rubens, The Living End, Cloud Control…) plus Neil Finn and Eddie Vedder taking on 15 classics by Aussie pub-rock icons Hunters & Collectors. The double disc also comes with the 15 originals.
Zoo says: Putting a modern twist on the Hunnas’ back catalogue proves just how timeless Mark Seymour and the lads’ songwriting was. While it’s hard to top Vedder and Finn covering a song like Throw Your Arms Around Me, Something For Kate go close with their rocking rendition of When The River Runs Dry.
