Mark Seymour, one of the most passionate voices in Australian music, will perform at Windsor on Friday.

The former lead singer of ARIA award winning Hunters and Collectors, Seymour is promoting his fifth solo album, Undertow.

Hunters and Collectors were renowned as one of our best live shows, drawing huge crowds in venues across the country.

A chance to see and hear Seymour up close is one to be savoured.

It’s now 13 years since the Hunters disbanded and Seymour still has plenty to say through his songs.

He’s composed film scores, written and performed music for theatre and acted but still has the desire to perform.

Another great of Aussie music, Stephen Cummings, described the 11 songs on Undertow as making up arguably Seymour’s “finest album”; a big call about the bloke responsible for such classics as Throw Your Arms Around Me, Holy Grail and Say Goodbye.

“When The Kings Of Leon turn 50 this is what they might sound like,” Cummings wrote about the music on Undertow.

The audience at Windsor’s The Vault can expect a strong focus on the new album, which was released in May this year.

There will also be a few songs from his earlier solo albums and, of course, some great songs from the Hunters and Collectors days.

Undertow is being distributed via Liberation Music and also available online through Seymour’s website and iTunes.
