Seventh Heaven Club

“Seventh Heaven Club” is the new album from Mark Seymour and the Undertow…Rapidly approaching completion. Glockenspiel overdubs in progress on the acid soul extravaganza…”Nobody’s Superman”…I had to escape the studio for a few minutes…The producer’s imagination was running wild on cups of tea and bikkies. I’m having a quiet moment in the weed strewn backyard, contemplating this new direction our music is taking…….

Shortening ‘Superman’. An edit is required. I can go on a bit sometimes. When you write a lyric, it’s better to lean on the lean side I think…I’m no Dylan..Say something once, why say it again and again? So, a Verse will go and it won’t be missed….

Our version of Concrete Blonde’s “Caroline” features some very animated bass from the normally retiring Johnny Favaro of Yarraville. That’s the thing about Favaro….Nobody knows when he’ll pop out of his shell…
