Alternatively called “When The Truth Comes Out”
“When The Truth Comes Calling” is a pop b-side released on the more common version of the Australian “Throw Your Arms Around Me” singles. It is clearly more ‘pop’ than most of the material around the time of “Human Frailty”. It also features a more prominent role for Mark’s vocals and the ‘horns of contempt’ than in the average Hunna’s track.
Mark seems to be singing to (or about) a woman he is in a relationship (or wants to be in a relationship with). It seems to be a song expressing annoyance at some (typically female, dare I say) traits that he believes she will drop when she realises they are of no significance. If only… =)

When the truth comes calling
You’re gonna stop changing your mind
Yeh one of these days
You’re gonna leave you hair just like it is
You won’t stare into the mirror
Checking yourself out all the time
And you’ll stop dressing down
Down in dead people’s clothes
And when the telephone rings
You won’t get excited
Because it’ll be me that called you
And you know just what I’m like
And you won’t need your high heels
Cause you spend all your time with me
Any day now
If you ever come over
That’s when I stick my fist out
And I watch your body fall
You fall down down down
Down in dead people’s clothes
That’s when the truth comes calling
If you ever come over
If you ever come over
If you ever come over
You won’t stare into the mirror
Checking yourself out all all the time
Yeh one of these days
You’re gonna stop changing your mind
And you’ll stop dressing down
Down in dead people’s clothes
Any day now
If you ever come over
That’s when I’ll stick my fist out
And I’ll watch your body fall
You fall down down down
Down in dead people’s clothes
That’s when the truth comes calling
If you ever come over
Any day now
If you ever come over
That’s when I stick my fist out
And I watch your body fall
You fall down down down
Down in dead people’s clothes
That’s when the truth comes calling
If you ever come over
