How inspiring that musician Mark Seymour is ambassador for Dementia Australia and seeks to bring this burgeoning health issue into the light and improve “mainstream awareness” (“The conversation musician Mark Seymour wants Australians to have”, November 17). Seymour has written many sensitive and memorable lyrics and songs, but that his experience with his mother and their relationship through her decline with dementia was the story behind Classrooms and Kitchens further reflects his honesty, clarity and humanity.
