It is a New Year. It is hot and humid up in Queensland. Clearly, it is time to start a new tour in a sweaty Brisbane pub…
So here we are, 27 years ago almost to the day, at Transformers in Brisbane 🙂
The band had been recording Demon Flower – which was still five months away from appearing in stores. New songs are in the set list, though – Back in the Hole and Betrayer. The cover of The Saints classic Know Your Product also makes a debut. Faraway Man also makes a final showing along with a great selection of hits and favourites.
This was one of the first full gigs recorded straight to digital DAT tape: with noticeable quality improvements as a result.
