Greetings Punters

Down here in Vic we’re nearing the end of another lockdown and although it’s been hard to predict, live music is likely to open up very soon..

Gigs are slated for late December and into next year which is looking very busy, given everyone’s been postponing just like we have..

In the meantime, a lot of people have given us plenty of support to keep things moving through these doldrum days, so thanks to them. The good news is, there’s plenty on right now..

Here’s some back story:

During the 2nd ‘great Melbourne lockdown’ we took a huge punt and recorded a live video of the whole ‘Slow Dawn’ album inside an empty Forum theatre.. On the corner of Russel and Flinders..

I figured it was worth the effort, given the album had been well and truly snookered by then, by a plague of all things…

So with that in the bag, rather than sitting on our hands waiting until we were told it was ok to go outside and sneeze, we’ve lifted a single from said video. It’s called

“The Whole World is dreaming’ and it features the exquisite voice of Missy Higgins, sharing the story. What a joy..

‘Just Hear This- There’s Something I want to tell you’

Directed by the very talented Tracey Spring, it features an acoustic performance of the song ‘Slow Dawn’ with an explainer from me as to the history, meaning and origins of the song..

And finally, on the back of the huge punt we took recording the whole album live way back in September last year, we finally managed to get the film away on the ABC TV Plus and iview on November 5.
