Greetings,
The music world has been turned on its head this week with the death of Michael Gudinski.
We were very close to him.
My career has been inextricably linked to the record company Michael built and the people who have worked there over the years.
For me it’s forty.
His generosity and courage touched the lives of many Australians and there is a real sense of emptiness in the music industry right now as we reflect on the way he communicated with so many of us and championed our work.
The music will roll on…
I’ll be performing live Memo Music Hall in St Kilda on Friday April 2nd & Saturday April 3rd, as well as the 32nd annual Byron Bay Bluesfest on April 5th.
But for now we are quietly thinking of Michael and the energy and passion of Australian Rock n’ Roll that he did so much to help create.
