Lots of artists are ‘live streaming’ apparently. We flirted with the idea then nixed it.
There are personnel involved, hard surfaces.. gear that’s been out there, getting leaned on, handled..
The lads wandering in from god knows where!
lots of hand washing.
We figured you either take ‘lock down’ seriously or go to the hair dresser
The message should be clear and simple. Stay home.
Go out only if you have to..
Seriously though. Let’s face it. We’re in strife and there should be no half-baked messages. How hard can it be? We’re all good people. We need to look after each other.
Still, with gigs cancelled I can relate to the urge to jam.. In the mean time we’ve got this album in the wings, called
‘Slow Dawn’.
Not due for official release until May 29 and the so-called ‘single’
‘Night Driving’
To Spotify/Apple music and Youtube on May 1st…
Between now and then there’s a long time between..
In which case you’ll be seeing me in my garage in the not too distant future .. somewhere out in the sticks, diving headlong into strange but truthful versions of songs from this album..
The lads wish you all well.
Be strong and Stay tuned
