Albert Park MP Martin Foley with Jack Howard
Jack Howard made a brief media appearance today in support of funding to save the Palais Theatre in St Kilda.
Jack was present, along with Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool, Mondo Rock), at the Andrews Labor opposition announcement of a $13.4 million commitment to restore the Palais Theatre if elected.

It’s cheap to save a venue like this, so hopefully Dan’s going to do it.

The Victorian state election will be held on Saturday the 29th of November 2014.
In the electorate of Albert Park, Tex Perkins (Beasts of Bourbon, The Cruel Sea) is running on the Palais issue, but has now indicated that he will preference Labor due to this commitment.
No commitment has been made at this stage from the Napthine conservative Coalition Government.
