What a massive week for Hunters and Collectors!
Since it’s all been about great artists covering Hunters and Collectors songs, it seems a good time to unleash this unreleased recording of Hunters and Collectors covering Lorelei. This is from the same sessions that resulted in the acoustic disc within Living in Large Rooms and Lounges. It seems to be the only song recorded but not on the final release.
Yes, the mere presence of this track rewrites some of our known history of the song, with Mark Seymour here in Brisbane right now playing Lorelei, among other tracks, from his own covers album Seventh Heaven Club.
