Cut seems to occupy a strange part in the Hunters journey – a last attempt at hitting it ‘big’ with a renowned American producer, yet after the US record company Atlantic had pulled the plug.
It brought Hunters to a new generation in Australia and spawned a massive six top 100 singles – yet band feelings remain mixed.
The popularity of album tracks that were not singles speaks volumes about the ongoing following of the Cut album. This is one of them – Grindstone – which appears courtesy of a request from Gary.
