In December 2012, Jack Howard, together with his fantastic band, gave a brilliant and emotion-charged performance ofBurt Bacharach’s classic “Reach Out” as part of Pure Pop’s Summer Of Classic Albums.
It’s been one of the most talked about and revered shows of the series and on Saturday March 2nd at The Flying Saucer Club, you can see and hear for yourself what all the fuss has been about.
With the sensational Michael sisters, Heather and Marj, on flute, violin and angelic vocals, John Berto and Greg Murray from The Elwood Dads on guitar and drums and Rob Walker on bass, this will be one helluva show.
The band will once again perform “Reach Out” start to finish; but this time they’ll also be playing a selection of great Bacharach and David standards: The Look Of Love, Alfie, What The World Needs Now, I Say A Little Prayer, Do you Know The Way To San Jose, Close To You – and the list goes on….songs to die for!
Jack Howard was recently described as “one of the great quiet achievers of Australian music” and he’s just released his own fantastic CD/DVD, “The Story So Far”.
