Very haunting little number from 1994 recordings. Lawrence Maddy producing, Ash Davies on brushes, Nicky Del Rey on guitar, piano solo – me! This eventually came out on my first EP, Lo Stresso Tempo; and was re-worked for 2009’s Nightbirds’ album, Lost Horizon. One of my favourite early lyrics – the full melancholy. Gorgeous production.
