Harem Scarem Reform for One Off Show

Harem Scarem

Before Hunters and Collectors, Barry Palmer was guitarist for the hard rocking Melbourne outfit Harem Scarem. The good news this week is that Harem Scarem are reforming for one night only at The Gasometer Hotel on the 9th of November 2017!

Charlie Marshall reports:

The four front men of the classic 80s blues punk lineup are getting together for the first time since 1990 – my brother, howling frontman Chris Marshall, razor sharp lead guitarist Barry Palmer, Chris Wilson with his mighty blues harp, and myself as chief groovemeister.

We’ll be helped out by a deadly rhythm section of Ash Davies of Crown of Thorns, Models, etc, etc and Kim Volkman, fresh from the X reunion tour. Support will be from Sand Pebbles and James McCann & the New Vindictives. Gonna be a great night!

Tickets on sale now at Oztix.

I am so annoyed that I have another gig on that night. The family’s all going to see Mike Massé and of course, it had to be on that night of all nights. I can only hope that someone can record this gig and put it up online. I still have the Aztec Remaster though…
