Four Corners – Cain 1985

Source: Four Corners EP VHS LPCM

Thanks to John Archer’s magnificent ancient digital recording technology, today we have the second original digital recording that appeared on the rare three track Four Corners 12″ vinyl EP. A couple of months ago we provided Slime Time and today we have Cain, which only leaves Silent Night for another time 🙂

Ah my 12″ ep doesn’t feel so special now!

Its an interesting record because its so different to other Mark Seymour solo stuff which even when he first started solo gigs like the ones with Nick Barker were quite “song” orientated. This sounds a lot more like melbourne arty sort of indy rock.

Were there any other songs from these sessions that were unreleased? Are we to be pleasantly surprised one day?

  2. Hi Mark,

So far; no surprise materials from these particular sessions has appeared.

But there’s some truly surprising stuff in this area… feel free to take guesses 🙂

    Cheers
