Rendering Room, live 1981

We are a little delayed this week with our rare track of the week! We have been too busy rocking out in Sydney at the Enmore – a truly unforgettable weekend of beer, rock and roll and traffic.

The lucky ones have tickets to next weekends shows at the Palais – the last of the tour! As with both Enmore shows, both Palais shows are also now sold out!

With the pending triumphant return to Melbourne, this week we have pulled out a very early, unreleased song from the first album era – Rendering Room. Some fans may have heard this on the early ‘Jump Club’ bootleg (though the listed date and venue do not match!) but never in this quality.

My three year old and 18 month old boys are here rocking out to this track and hopefully you will too.

One question about this… who is playing the sax on this. I don’t think I have ever heard sax on any Hunnas before?

What’s also interesting is someone else is playing the big drum percussion on this besides Falconer and Perano who is obviously not as adept as his two percussive band mates. Gotta love arty rock!

That would be Ian Cox (Essendon Airport) on the sax.
